Follow these steps on your Windows computer.
Download now. Install later. Your link expires in 72 hours or sooner. Download the file right away. You can install it later.
Click the download link we sent you. Save the file if asked.
Click the download arrow near the top of your browser. Then click MSI_Install_Package.zip to open it.
Click Extract all.
Leave the settings as they are. Click Extract. The new folder will open.
In the new folder, find install. It may be named install.bat.
Click install with your right mouse button. Then click Run as administrator.
If this warning appears, click Run. Only continue with the file from the EasyITGuys link we sent you.
If Windows asks to allow changes, click Yes.
The ConnectWise Automate setup window will open. Click Next.
Do not change anything on the Server Settings screen. Click Next.
Click Install.
Wait while it installs. Leave this window open.
When it finishes, click Finish.
Go back to the folder window. Click Downloads near the top.
Hold the Ctrl key while you click both MSI_Install_Package items. Then release the key.
Right-click either selected item. Click Delete.
Look near the Windows clock for the green gear icon. Click the small arrow near the clock to see hidden icons. Your additional security software will install automatically over the next 24 hours.
As setup finishes, you may see these icons from our current minimum setup. The last icon in the red box is for business clients only. Extra security layers may add more icons.
