Rare Cybersecurity Project Funding Opportunity

The State of Wisconsin is offering $7.67 million in funding through the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP). Municipalities can apply for these funds through Friday, May 30, 2025.

Each eligible entity may receive up to $100,000 in fully funded support. This is a rare opportunity to cover the costs of essential cybersecurity improvements at no local expense.

EasyITGuys is here to help you take full advantage of this program. With over 15 years of experience and a track record of serving more than 140 organizations, our team is equipped with the knowledge and resources to support your needs. We’re backed by national expertise and committed to delivering reliable, personalized IT and cybersecurity services.

Your costs can be potentially covered for:

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) helps keep your accounts safe by asking for more than just a password. It adds an extra step — like a code sent to your phone — to make sure only the right people can access your systems.

Managed Detection and Response (MDR)

Managed Detection and Response (MDR) is a service that monitors your systems for threats around the clock. A team of security experts watches for suspicious activity and takes quick action to stop any potential attacks.

Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)

Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) is a tool that keeps an eye on your computers and devices. It looks for signs of cyber threats and reacts quickly to stop them before they cause harm.

About the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP)

The State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP) is a federally funded initiative aimed at strengthening cybersecurity readiness across state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) governments.

This program provides critical financial support to help these entities enhance their cybersecurity infrastructure, establish stronger protection protocols, and improve their ability to detect, respond to, and recover from cyber threats.

By encouraging collaboration, improved information sharing, and the development of robust incident response strategies, the SLCGP enables SLTT governments to safeguard sensitive data and critical infrastructure. Ultimately, the program contributes to building a more secure and resilient cybersecurity landscape across all levels of government.
