If you already have full coverage with EasyITGuys, you may not need to take any action. If you have email security or cloud backups through EasyITGuys for Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, please read this notice. Identity based attacks are now one of the most common ways businesses get compromised. That is why we are upgrading our Email Security standard beginning January 1, 2026 to include Identity Threat Detection and Response, also called ITDR.
A large percentage of breaches start with a stolen password, a reused password, or a successful phishing login. ITDR helps detect identity threats early and supports faster response to account takeover attempts.
Our Email Security standard is $25 per user per month
This standard includes:
Email security controls
Unlimited online backups
ITDR included as part of the baseline standard
Some clients are on older tiers between $12 and $19 per user per month. Some of these legacy tiers do not include ITDR. We want this transition to be fair and predictable, especially for clients who have had recent price adjustments.
Starting January 1, 2026:
Clients on legacy tiers will receive the upgraded standard at no price change for 180 days (updates on 7/1/2026)
We will review the impact and confirm next steps during your first quarterly review in Q2 2026
At that time, we will make recommendations and you can choose the option that fits your organization

What is ITDR?
ITDR stands for Identity Threat Detection and Response. It helps detect and respond to identity based threats like suspicious logins, impossible travel, MFA abuse, and account takeover attempts.
Why are you making ITDR part of the standard?
Because identity is one of the most common entry points in modern attacks. This helps set a consistent baseline when we are responsible for protecting your email and cloud identities.
I am paying $12 to $19 per user today. Am I being forced to upgrade?
We will upgrade legacy tiers to the new standard at no price change for 180 days, then review it with you during your first quarterly review in Q2 2026.
When would pricing change?
Pricing will be updated on 7/1/2026, it would be discussed after the 180 day transition and reviewed with you in Q2 2026.
Does the $25 per user plan include backups?
Yes. The standard Email Security plan includes unlimited online backups for supported cloud data.
Do I need to do anything right now?
No. We will handle the upgrade process and include the summary in your quarterly review report.
Can I keep a lower tier if I want to?
We will review options with you. Our goal is to keep cybersecurity standards strong while matching your budget and needs.
