⚠️ Important notice for existing clients: This is the second reminder of upcoming changes to your account starting on 1/1/2026. If you have already upgraded to modern security and support services, please ignore this message. ⚠️

Hi,

You are receiving this because your account is currently on partial coverage or older standards. As mentioned in the prior notice, this update modernizes your baseline security and clarifies what is included in your business membership with EasyITGuys.

🔒 What’s Changing?

Starting January 1, 2026, your organization will automatically be enrolled in our required Business Membership. This ensures every client has a strong, modern security foundation backed by documentation. Annual IT & Cybersecurity risk assessments (included) are a common requirement for cyber insurance and modern due diligence requirements (data and IT security).
  • Membership Cost: $97/month for existing clients (through June 30, 2026).
  • Separate Services: Any additional services like local device backupspassword managers, or other add-ons will remain separate charges.
  • Pricing Timeline:
    • $97/month through 6/30/2026
    • $297/month starting 7/1/2026 (if still month-to-month)
    • $497/month starting 1/1/2027 (if still month-to-month)
  • You can lock in lower pricing anytime by choosing a 1-year or 3-year term.
  • If you currently pay annually, we will add a separate monthly invoice for the Business Membership. If you prefer to pay the membership annually instead, just let us know. We will confirm your preference and update your billing accordingly.

❗ What Does NOT Require Membership?

Some services are unaffected and do not require a Business Membership at this time:
  • ✅ VoIP Phone Services (Modern Cloud based Phone Systems)
  • ✅ Website, Marketing, and SEO Services (Business Growth Platform)
  • ✅ Some standalone software (Identity Theft Protection, Password Manager)
If you only use these services, you’re not impacted by this change.

🤔 What Do You Need To Do?

Nothing right now. We’ll handle the enrollment automatically. You’ll see the new membership line item on your invoice starting in January. If you want to talk through your setup, term options, or confirm what’s included, we’re here to help.

What is the Rollout Schedule?

  • Onboarding begins January 2026 and completes by March 31, 2026
  • Setup is free for existing clients where we already provide backups or security
    • Typical onboarding value: $100 to $200 per computer
    • Organization onboarding often around $1,000

What will this cost?

Most impacted existing clients start at $97 per month for Business Membership beginning 1/1/2026. Some optional items are separate such as:

  • Local device backups (workstations or servers) if needed

  • Password manager if desired

  • Email security upgrades for legacy tiers if applicable (grandfathered price with enhanced security at no additional cost through June 2026)

These items will be separated on your January 2026 invoice from any prior VIP or workstation security bundles (both discontinued as of 11/1/2025). VIP3 and Workstation Security bundles remain the same price at $50/month. We are adding new and improved device security layers (24×7 security) as a replacement for the backup/password manager inclusions.

 🛡️ Why This Matters

Cyberattacks are surging. In recent years:
  • Cybercrime losses jumped 33% to $16.6 billion
  • 82% of ransomware victims were small and mid-size businesses
  • Small business employees faced 350% more phishing and social engineering attacks than large companies
Old security standards aren’t enough anymore. This membership ensures your business has the modern protection it needs.

The SBA says this…
“Cyberattacks cost the U.S. economy billions of dollars a year, and pose a threat for individuals and organizations. Small businesses are especially attractive targets because they have information that cybercriminals (bad actors, foreign governments, etc.) want, and they typically lack the security infrastructure of larger businesses to adequately protect their digital systems for storing, accessing, and disseminating data and information. Source: Strengthen your cybersecurity | U.S. Small Business Administration (sba.gov)
