If you move to a basic hosting provider, these features will not transfer automatically.
You’ll need to purchase or replace them individually to maintain your site’s security, functionality, and visibility.
If you wish to transfer your site, here’s what you’ll need to know:
All transfers must be completed by the 25th of the month.
If the process isn’t complete by then, your cancellation will move to the following month.
Your account must be in good standing before we can release your website or domain.
That includes payment for your final billing month.
Your new provider will typically handle the transfer. They’ll need:
Administrator access to your website (to copy files and content)
DNS access (to update the A record and point the site to their hosting server)
If your new provider struggles with this process, we recommend finding a provider with WordPress migration experience.
We’re happy to provide the domain transfer (EPP) code and temporary Cloudflare access if DNS changes are needed.
⚠️ Note: We’re hands-off after we provide the access details. Any additional meetings or assistance are billed hourly.
