Business vs. Residential Billing Policies #
EasyITGuys offers services for both business and home (residential) clients. Because these environments are different, billing and reporting policies are documented separately. Use the guide below to make sure you are reading the correct policy for your service type.
Residential Billing Policy #
- Cancellation deadline: The 25th of the month for any cancellation.
- How to cancel: Email us, call us, or submit a request using our website contact form (cancellation form coming soon).
- Billing reports: Residential plans do not include automated monthly coverage reports.
- Changes: Services can be added at any time. Most are month-to-month unless otherwise noted or prepaid in advance.
Business Billing Policy #
- Monthly coverage reporting: Includes reporting designed to support both billing clarity and coverage completeness.
- Core categories (may expand over time): Devices, Users, Microsoft 365 Identities, and additional categories as automation grows.
- Retirement cutoff: The 25th of the month for changes to be reflected in the next billing cycle.
- Device auto-retirement: Devices may be auto-retired after 45 days of inactivity in our monitoring systems.
- User changes: Completed using the Hire/Retire form to ensure secure and timely updates.
Note: As we continue improving the client experience, timelines and processes may evolve. If anything changes, we will update the related policy pages.
